A Game of Strings is a combination of the string quartet followed by the improvised Roma band inputs.
Cimbal band Sendreiovci brings the spontaneity and vigour of Roma folklore, while the composer Slavo Solovic
with the string quartet puts to compositions discipline and sophistication, so typical for classic music.
The contrast of European classic music and the unchained Roma interpretation
brings amazing music and sound possibilities.

The musical connection of classic music and Roma folklore loves also the world-known composer Hans Zimmer who has met Slovak artists after his concert in Bratislava.
He finds A Game of Strings project fantastic.
It brings together two music worlds:
classical music and authentic Roma music.
A string quartet SOLO QUARTET and a SENDREIOVCI cymbal band.

It´s a common project of the composer Slavo Solovic and the Roma band Sendreiovci playing under Vlado Sendrei, famous for their cooperation with Hans Zimmer when composing music for the movie Sherlock Holmes - A GAME OF SHADOWS that was an inspiration for concert program A GAME OF STRINGS.
